The Cleaners & Allied Independent Workers Union

is a registered trade union representing over a thousand workers employed mainly in London's cleaning industry. We believe that every human being is entitled to dignity and respect in the workplace, and it is our mission to help our members fight for this basic right, along with others like fair pay, terms and working conditions.

Join Us on the Mayday Bus

Once again, CAIWU is taking to the streets for Mayday.

Following the success of last year's bus tour, this year we'll be doing it all over again.

So drop whatever you were planning for May 1st and join us on the bus. We'll be visiting some of the employers who our members have been in dispute with over the last year, and some of the ones we might have to take on in the coming months. And afterwards join us back at the Mayday Rooms for food, drink and fun.

No need to register or book – just turn up, climb aboard and make some noise.

Departure: 12 noon at the Mayday Rooms, 88 Fleet street, EC4Y 1DH Returning to Fleet Street at 6pm
