VICTORY AT NIKE TOWN! STRIKE AVERTED!
CAIWU members at Nike Town Oxford Street secured a stunning result yesterday, receiving a guarantee from their employer Cordant Services that they will be on the London Living Wage in just one year’s time.
The settlement included an immediate pay rise scheduled for January 1st 2018, a further increment to follow in June, and the London Living Wage on January 1st 2019. This is a fantastic outcome after months of campaigning — and as ever, the message is that united we are strong.
